You'd think I was anti-Valentine's or something.
Canon = what actually happens on screen. NOT what you think happened based on the way someone blinked or turned or twitched a finger or whatever, but what's actually there. Once Upon a Time fandom seems to have missed this memo.
"Emma/Regina is canon." NOPE.
"Emma/August is canon." NOPE.
"Emma/Hook is canon." NOPE.
"Emma/Jefferson is canon." NOPE.
"Emma/Neal is canon." ONLY IN THE PAST.
Flirting =/= a canon relationship. Breathing the same air =/= a canon relationship. Mentioning the other person's name =/= a canon relationship.
Ship who you want, but unless it's actually happening on the screen you don't get to claim "canon." The only canon relationships at the moment are Snow/Charming and Rumpel/Belle, and even that last one is on a hiatus.
