Bleh

Woke up with a headache this morning that I still have. Bleh. Am sooooooooo happy it's Friday. It's been a long, hard week.

I had been thinking about going to The Park That Must Not Be Named tomorrow, but it might be too hot. When you live in a place that's 72 degrees 364 days of the year, 80 is Too. Hot. 8 degrees, man! Seas are probably boiling out there!

Or maybe I'll just go. There's not a whole lot of water there. Plus I could always leave before noon since my ultimate purpose for going to TPTMNBN is a very geeky one and will not be mentioned.

I really need to work on the ficathon assignment. Zero ideas. Wah.

ETA: Ooooo. SG-1 could go to TPTMNBN!

I'm considering suggesting that we go to Raging Waters tomorrow. I bought our season passes online last night so we're good for the summer. And it's supposed to be plenty hot tomorrow...haven't mentioned it to hubby yet so we'll see.

SHHHHHH! Okay, it's not like I'm trying to get Little Mermaid posters or anything! I want *cool* posters.

AND I read on a website that the Gallery actually has this new thing called Print On Demand where you can get copies of *any* of the gallery artwork, starting at around $15. Some of that concept art is wicked cool. Yes, I said wicked.

Seems like hubby might be in favor of the water park idea. I told him we could go tomorrow or we could go on Sunday instead of me going to the spa. I'm supposed to go to Glen Ivy on Sunday and I just can't get excited about it for some reason. Weird. This friend and I have been going at the end of the year every year since we started working here. But I just can't get excited by it this year.

I don't know. I still like the idea of the spa. I just don't think this is the weekend for it. Or maybe it's the $$ involved since I know we're leaving for vacation at the beach in two weeks and that will involve lots of $$$$$$$.

Have you tried the headache cocktail (prescribed by an actual doctor to a friend of mine): 2 advil, 1 tylenol and a coke. It really works!

Make it Excedrin. It's actually a combination of aspirin, Tylenol, and caffeine. Which is the combination in a lot of migraine medications.

I'm waffling. I think I might go to Dland tomorrow. Found out I have to start a massive project next week and I think I need to decompress before that.
