nandamai has posted her new fic This Close (go read now!) which means that my checklist is pretty much taken care of. spikesbuffy continues to make captions (just about hourly) and familyarchives has been distributing icons. And if you haven't heard, josephides and I are working on the third Dark & Stormy.
That just leaveshyari (but I understand she had an unfortunate plot bunny drive-by, so I can cut her some slack), and then suzvoy. Suz, Suz, Suz. Thou hast been given the name "Queen of the WIPs" and justly so. Well, there's always one in a bunch.

Thanks, Mistress. Though this doesn't bother me as much as I think it should, since I'd much rather read someone else's fic than write one myself, any day (yeah, I'm lazy, sue me, 'kay? *g*).

Okay. I was remembering when Teal'c is saying to Carter in that ep, you know, when he says, "Narim seems to have strong feelings for you" or something like that and Carter starts saying, "I know, it's just that..." before they're interrupted by Narim. Her thoughts:

Yes, I was once attracted to Narim. He had The Eyes and The Voice and that really cool emotion recording thingamagiggy. But then Martouf came along, and he *also* had The Eyes and The Voice, and Orlin? His glowy essence sharing – waaaaaaaaaay better than any emotion recording thingamagiggy. And those Tollan uniforms? Does *nothing* for Narim’s figure, and I think he’s gotten a paunch. Hello, crunches, anyone? And I know I haven’t technically met Joe yet, but I’m sure he’ll have *way* better shoes than Narim. And did you *see* the Colonel in his dress uniform?! Rowrrrl.
I am feeling more sarcasm coming on:
