The day after...
We came. We saw. We kicked Mickey's ass!

samkicksass and I have decided that we really need to do a Disneyland meet-up with anyone that wants to go. Maybe some weekend later this spring (after Spring Break)? This fall?
Had a blast! Got hit on by a couple of guys on the monorail. That was *before* we started with the inside jokes and laughing hysterically. Something about "reuse, recycle, ...something" and "tuck and roll!" They left at Downtown Disney. :D Then there was the political debate that Anna got into with a drunk guy while standing in line for the Haunted Mansion. Ah...good times!
SO much fun even if there were a few big rides down and despite Toontown freaking Anna out. And Small World. I *made* her go on that. Let's just say there was mad running towards the train station afterwards to get away from the song.

Announced by a Disney cast member over a microphone as she was giving an internet demonstration, Anna and I having hijacked one of the machines to try and check LJ. Damn. We didn't even see her sneak up behind us. - "SHIT!!"
Anna upon discovering that we were walking down the middle of a parade route. Thought those spotlights looked bright. - "Just because your brother did it doesn't mean it's right."
Random mother trying to logic with her 4-year-old. - "Okay, that's freaking me out."
"I was just about to say that."
Me and Anna watching the singing flowers in the Tiki Room. - "Yeah, that's nice. Just leave."
Hilarious Jungle Cruise guide at the end when everyone on the boat clapped for him. - "That swan's butt exploded!"
Me. Well, it was a *very* deformed topiary. - "May the force be with you."
"Because I won't."
Disney cast member and some random kid behind us on the Star Tours ride. - "We're observing the giant wet ball."
Random person announcing this to others in her party. This was our running joke throughout the day, for we are both 13.

You know, the more I think about it, the more I'm realizing that it *shouldn't* be during Spring Break. Yes, it's open longer hours, but the park is just packed.

Make it a weekend and I might be able to manage that. Spring is hectic though... bike races, concerts, trips away for just the two of us... but fall looks empty so far.

Still trying to get a feel if spring or fall would be better. I'm now thinking more towards fall just because of the whole Spring Break thing... Hmm.
