It was a damn good night of TV. And I even managed to see people pushing around cows during the commercial break.
Those four episodes were absolutely hysterical. Just to watch Justine Bateman flirting with Jason Bateman was worth it alone. If anything was ever a "laughing in terror" moment, that was it. Like Michael said at the end of that ep, "that was wrong on so many levels."
The fake/real wedding between George Michael and Maeby; finding out Lindsey had been adopted; going to Iraq...all of it. Just so way over-the-top funny. I really hope Mitch Horowitz changes his mind and takes either ABC or Showtime up on the offer.

Billyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! Poor little Billy. *sniff*
Okay, I'm no Lee/Kara shipper, but the thing with Lee/Dee has been wacked. I just. don't. get. it. At all. I mean, the whole time they had been setting Billy/Dee up as this cute little pair. This wasn't me having some kind of subtext delusion, this was canon. And then all of a sudden last week (or was it the week before?) we got Lee/Dee with a side helping of cranky!Dee. *blink blink blink* Hey, if they want to do Lee/Dee, fine. Just, you know, build up to it a bit. I need foreplay, dammit.
With Kara overhearing the bit at the end, the *only* reason I see they're doing Lee/Dee is to provide Lee/Kara angst. I'm not exactly sure why they felt they needed to go that route. Lee/Kara is pretty fucked up all on its own.
My favoritest thing on this show is watching the dynamics between Adama, Lee and Kara. They didn't disappoint with the scenes involving Kara and Adama tonight, that's for sure. Kara confessing to Adama that she was the one who shot Lee - WOW. Some fantastic acting going on there. And then when they met in the corridor, the connection between the two even though he knew she shot Lee - ooooooooh.
But BILLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!

Because really, that's the only explanation. I feel all whiplashy from the just wham-bam-relationship-ma'am that's going on.
And I hate Kara/Lee, so that's not where it's coming from.
And if only every single episode would have a Kara/Adama (NOT SHIP, I swear...) scene I would be the happiest girl in the woooorld.

Ah, yes. Good old network errors.

Tell me about it.

BWAH!

Uh huh. Suuuuuuuure. ;)

There's just something about them together - the writing, the acting, the chemistry, it all comes together. I think they're honestly at their best, acting and character-wise, in many of the scenes they do together.

Oh, no. Really. I promise!

Well, that's why it's not shipping for me. If you took away all the crazy backstory and father/daughter-esque relationship they have, I probably would ship them, because I personally just think Katee Sackhoff and EJO are just have this fantastic click in their scenes together that isn't JUST the character's backstory. Which is all just a really long-winded way of saying that I'm a crazy fangirl of the actors and their characters. ;)

Naw, just doesn't flow right. Maybe the writers will figure out the name thing don't work and drop it and the audiance will say, "Oh yeah, that was a bad dream. It never happened!".
No wonder Lee's so fucked up. He can't keep his mind on one woman he wants Kara/Dee/prostitute. They better pick a dirction for the character to go in or they'll find themselves with a very unlikable character.
Kara/Adama scenes! Some the best scenes ever. Great interaction between them two. Can't wait to see how this plays out. Maybe he'll accuse her of hunting his boys to extinction!

I wanted to smack him so hard last night. Lee has been written all over the place the last couple of episodes.

Yeah, or even make him with no one for a while or something. Like Hannah said above, we're getting character whiplash.

I really hope they follow up with this storyline next week. So, so good.

And what ever happened to Felix? I've only seen him in one or two little scenes laterly.

I mean she shot him for crying out loud. You don't get more fraked up then that. The Dee/Lee thing makes no sense to me either. It wouldn't bother me if Lee started seeing somoene but this came out of no where. And to make matters worse Lee seems to have no feelings for Dee. It's all one sided. When they were sitting at the bar I was getting nothing from Lee. The only time he even made an effort was when he grabed her hand. And I'm not sure he didn't see Kara out of the corror of his eye. Like I said in my post you can keep a couple apart without throwing in a thrid party.
I felt we got cheated out of the scene with the three of them at the end. I understand Mom and Dad where having their own issues but that end scene just pissed me off. It's just too damn soapy for my taste. (yes I love soaps but that's one of the thing I happen to hate about them)

Yup yup yup.

I'm not sure - wasn't there a scene a week or two ago where he was watching Dee and Billy?

When/where/which ep was that?
Like I said in my post you can keep a couple apart without throwing in a thrid party.
So true.
I felt we got cheated out of the scene with the three of them at the end.
Honestly I wouldn't have minded if it hadn't been all three of them if it had just been Adama and Lee or something. Dee seemed weird. She was acting like all of a sudden they were in a serious relationship.
I can understand Kara wanting to see him but staying away after what's happened between them recently and *then* she shoots him.

But that look came out of nowhere. At least for it seemed so forced on Lee's part.
At the end of this episode when Dee was sitting with him. I'm not so sure he didn't see Kara walk in.
Dee is acting like some flyboy fan girl that I just wanna smack. Scratch that I wanna shove her out of the nearest airlock. And I liked Dee before this.

Dammit.
