S/J Vid Song Recs?

I wanna do a S/J vid but I have no songs in mind. So I'm asking for...S/Jsongrecommendations.

Now mind you, I reserve the right to turn up my nose or (even if I like it) to pass. I tend to like things that aren't really the norm.

Really only one requirement at the moment: NO CELINE DION. Okay, another: no songs that have already been done to death...or even done that you know of. And I'm not really wild about teen pop songs, so anything that's remotely connected to something like American/World Idol would probably be a no...

Well, no wonder I can't find a song!

It could be an old song or a new one. It could be a silly song, although I'm kinda more in the mood for serious. But if it was the right song...

If you rec it, I'll have a look at the lyrics and maybe listen to a snip, but no promising it'll become a vid, okay? *smooooch*

I recommend:

"Fade into you" by Mazzy Star - a very pretty song and just distant enough to suggest the S/J relationship.

"Hundreds of Sparrows" by Sparklehorse is a song I'd LOVE to see a vid too. It would be a cute S/J, I think.

And if you can find it anywhere, "Bring Yourself Home" by Jimmy Little - it's sweet.

Oooh, have to second the "Fade Into You" rec, Michelle. *Such* a gorgeous song. And I have a copy of that song you can stealuse, if you'd like. Hell, you should download the song regardless of whether you want to make a vid to it because it's such a great song. :)
