Ficness II

Came to the realization that current fic is *way* more involved than I had originally thought/intended it to be. Simple episode tag, my ass. (Funny thing is, once it's done it'll probably look like a simple episode tag.)

Now I just have to cross my fingers it won't get screwed by the season premiere. Have I ever told you about Prophesy? Yes? Well, here it is again.

20 pages of fic. *20* pages - probably about 1/2 - 2/3 the way complete. All about unrealized realities (no, haven't been watching Farscape at all) and "Prophesy" comes along. Shoots the blasted story right out of the water. Completely annihilates it.

Me bitter? Nah.

And so I'm able to leave you with something positive, yet another use for MEOW-BOOM. :D

*dreamy sigh* Is there anything he isn't/can't do?

Highly doubtful...

{huggles} Well, crossing fingers that it won't get screwed by the premiere, either - even if I'm not going to get to watch the thing. :)

Thanks! :) I'm crossing my fingers too.

Ooo!

Can I get screwed by the premiere? It'll sure liven up my Friday evening. *snivel* I don't wanna watch it by myself...

Note to self: Find more SG friends nearby. Preferably within walking distance.

At least you get to watch it! :)

Yeah, I wish there were more SG fans nearby - preferably *anywhere*. ;)

Awww. :( I'm planning on being on AIM...BUT I'm not getting on until it starts over here on the left coast. I don't want to be spoiled.

Definitely do-able as I have no AIM near the TV with cable. We have such odd electronic hookups in my home. But still! The two-hour time-lag could work in my favor! *bounce*

Oh cool! Of course, I'm only going to be on during the commercials. *g*

Premier! I forgot it was Friday night!

Yippee!

Here's hoping having father-in-law in town won't screw it up...Must set VCR just in case...

And I'll keep my fingers crossed that they don't screw you. Although I could think of worse...ahem, never mind....

I know, I know. All I can do is plead the jetlag again....

Now, to go and program the VCR before we head to Disneyland...

Ooo!! Disneyland trip!! I actually thought about going there this week. I might do that yet next week (although I should have done it when it was rainy). Haven't been there in a while. Have they done anything to the submarine lagoon yet? At least fish out all the trash? Are you going/did you go on the new Pooh ride? How was it?

I love D'land! We bought annual passes again this year so let me know if you ever want to "meet up."

You know, we didn't even go past the submarine lagoon this time. When we were there last (mid-April) they hadn't done anything with it but it looked fairly cleaned up. This time we took the little guy on Star Tours and the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, both of which he really liked, since he's now tall enough. And he still loves Pirates and the Haunted Mansion.

We did the new Pooh ride in April and skipped it yesterday because we needed to head back. It was okay. It's done on the order of most of the rides in Fantasyland. You get in a honeypot and go through the 100 Acre wood, in much the manner that you do Mr. Toad's Wild Ride or Snow White. Cute and definitely worth the trip at least once, if you like Pooh. They now have a killer Pooh store over by the ride, too.

Am forever hearing rumors of new rides that are supposedly going in there.

Aww. :)

Yeah, I'm not a *huge* Pooh fan, but I'll have to check out the ride.

Why doesn't that surprise me? I swear they have more stores than rides there. :)

It seems like all the stores are becoming more specialized, too. Sadly, the Villain store was closed on Friday. Husband was *most* disappointed.

It definitely seems like a waste not to have something in the submarine lagoon. Maybe they'll do a Nemo thing now...

Really? Aw man! :(

That'd be cute! They should!

There was still stuff in it but doors were locked. No idea *why* it was closed as there was no sign or anything. We're keeping our fingers crossed that it was just a fluke.

Yeah, no kidding!
