You know, I am always surprised every time there is Daleks at how scary they actually are. I mean, just to look at them, they should be like the cheesiest things ever, really - but they're terrifying. That's why Who is so damn cool - all sorts of things that really should be cheesy end up as scary or touching or awesomely cool.

Umm ... that is a bit of a different reaction than what I might expect. You want to hug genocidal killing machines whose sole purpose in life is to wipe out everything that isn't a Dalek? That's ... unusual, to say the least. :P

Dammit, every time I use this icon I want to go home and watch The Dalek Song again, and I can't leave for over an hour! *pouts a little* Although featherjean and truthlostmsr doubtless are just as happy I can't watch it again right this minute ...

They're so CUTE! I have no idea why they're so cute to me. Like in Bad Wolf at the end when one of them raises its eye stalk to look up at the Doctor on the screen, I actually "awwwww!"ed. :D

Dammit, every time I use this icon I want to go home and watch The Dalek Song again, and I can't leave for over an hour! *pouts a little* Although featherjean and truthlostmsr doubtless are just as happy I can't watch it again right this minute ...

Hehe. Saturday night, The Dalek Song definitely sent me into pure hysterical laughter (stress, trauma, and sleep dep, I'm sure) that resulted in phone calls that were nothing but "DALEK DALEK TRUCK!" and a collapse into giggles. I think I frightened them a bit.
