Day 5

Today's theme: IT WASN'T MY FAULT, DAMMIT. They made me what I am today. Evil, evil they! Just look at these pics and tell me how I could be anywhere else.

First the cute. This from the episode right before the final two-parter.
And it's OMGCUTE. How could I not ship them? How? They're so happy!
DAMN THE CUTE.

CUTE.

Hugging at the drop of a hat now.

"OMG, it's Wednesday!" *HUG*

"Tea?" "Sure!" *HUG*

"Huh. I dropped my hat." *HUG*

ACK! Stop looking like you're ready to jump each other! Probably again! Stop it!

"There's a lot of things you need to get across this universe. There's warp drive, wormhole refractors... The only thing you need, most of all, you need a hand to hold," says the Doctor right before he grabs Rose's hand.

"Cupcake?" "Yay!" *HUG*

Strolling down the street, holding hands and watching fireworks is like
*way* up there on the cute meter. Way, way up there.

SEE? CUTE. And happy! And...

*sniff*

Doomsday

Goddamn AUs.

Stuck on the other side of the wall. Where Rose is in a cold blue place, dammit.

And then the goodbye.

How could this not crush me? It was *designed* to be absolutely devastating.

It was. :(

Hey! I watched this...

[identity profile] ramdonomo.livejournal.com 2006-07-13 04:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, the finale... I apparently said the wrong things though. :-/ I hadn't ever seen anything before and uh, didn't know my Dalek from my Void Stuff.

I said to my friend, "Oh, yayz! Her dadperson saved her from the void thingy!" To which she screamed, "NO! She would have rather DIED than live without the DOCTOR!"

I didn't learn from that, though. I followed it up with, "OMG, he didn't get to say that he loved her back! His TARDIS-to-BEACH calling plan SUCKS! How foul is THAT?" To which she screamed, "The Doctor can't EVER say he loves someone!!!!!1eleventy!!"

And I looked like an idiot. So, uh... yeah. I suck at this show.

YES. Plus there's still no way that dadperson could have known *when* to grab her like that. Plot. Hole.

Well, if the Doctor supposedly can't ever say he loves someone (and I have no idea where that fanon notion came from), kinda makes everything pretty hollow for his character for me.

How about the mahosive plot hole of him not being pulled into the Void himself?

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2006-07-13 05:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Time Lords are quite grippy. ;)

[identity profile] boro-girl.livejournal.com 2006-07-13 06:15 pm (UTC)(link)
I know. I meant not!Pete. He was standing right next to the Void, and yet he wasn't pulled in. Rose's momentum didn't send them both flying into hell.

Why?

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2006-07-13 06:59 pm (UTC)(link)
OH!!!

You are TOTALLY right. OMG.

[identity profile] boro-girl.livejournal.com 2006-07-13 07:13 pm (UTC)(link)
In the moment they pulled apart my 'ship, I pulled apart the moment.

Think it only fair.

*blubs at quotage*

If you're about to tell me you love me, do it now before you run out of time...

[identity profile] beck-liz.livejournal.com 2006-07-13 10:49 pm (UTC)(link)
*cough* Technically? The biggest plothole is that the TARDIS didn't get sucked into the Void, too. It, after all, had been in AU-land too. That would be rather horrifyingly funny, wouldn't it? For the Doctor and Rose to watch in astonishment as the TARDIS whisks by and into the Void? Yikes.

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2006-07-13 10:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh RIGHT. Maybe the TARDIS had its own clamp? That it hauled out when it could see what was coming? (time vortex and all) I have the feeling the TARDIS rolls its eyes a lot. ;)

Right at the edge of d00m? I thought that was a lil off? Maybe his bling knew when the daughter was gonna get sucked into oblivion? I dunno. *shrugs*

Looked like he was gonna say it to ME. But I'm a n00b to the fandom. I know NOTHING.

*toddles off to watch 2x04... something about a fireplace*

That was a good one! Angsty, but good.
