Day 5

Today's theme: IT WASN'T MY FAULT, DAMMIT. They made me what I am today. Evil, evil they! Just look at these pics and tell me how I could be anywhere else.

First the cute. This from the episode right before the final two-parter.
And it's OMGCUTE. How could I not ship them? How? They're so happy!
DAMN THE CUTE.

CUTE.

Hugging at the drop of a hat now.

"OMG, it's Wednesday!" *HUG*

"Tea?" "Sure!" *HUG*

"Huh. I dropped my hat." *HUG*

ACK! Stop looking like you're ready to jump each other! Probably again! Stop it!

"There's a lot of things you need to get across this universe. There's warp drive, wormhole refractors... The only thing you need, most of all, you need a hand to hold," says the Doctor right before he grabs Rose's hand.

"Cupcake?" "Yay!" *HUG*

Strolling down the street, holding hands and watching fireworks is like
*way* up there on the cute meter. Way, way up there.

SEE? CUTE. And happy! And...

*sniff*

Doomsday

Goddamn AUs.

Stuck on the other side of the wall. Where Rose is in a cold blue place, dammit.

And then the goodbye.

How could this not crush me? It was *designed* to be absolutely devastating.

It was. :(

Yeah, that's Julie Gardner :D She's always championed the love in a far less annoying way than Russell.

I just think it's perplexing (in a good way) that TPTB are "yay! Doctor/Rose!" at all. I'm not used to PTB being that way.

In the commentary she was so adamant that the Doctor was going to say 'I love you' and that softened the blow a little.

But she got overruled or something?

It is very odd. Definitely not used to having my ships supported by TPTB. I think that's only ever been true in the past for Stargate but only just. They hardly show it now!

But she got overruled or something?

I don't think she went for it in the writing stages, just during the commentary she appeared to want to counter RTD's complete ambivalence to the whole thing.

BAH!
