So while I was happily writing the Monster Fic, S3 DW spoilers popped up on my flist.

Martha's a medical student?

My fic! WAH! You bastards! I had her as an Aeryn Sun-type kick-ass chick who was slamming aliens against walls! MRFFF!! No, really - what the hell am I going to do with that one scene? It was all about the Doctor being impressed with her kick-ass-ness. ROAR. OMG, and the opening scene! Daaaaammit.

*scratch scratch scratch* <-- the sound of me scratching out sections of the fic

Also? The Doctor's blue suit is crap and I'm not afraid to say it. It does nothing for DT unlike the brown pinstripe. But perhaps blue is the color of MOURNING for ROSE. YES. QUITE. As if to say, "I am sad and must express this in blue form." (Okay, may be still a tad miffed about the medical student thing.)

ETA: OH. And apparently the whole "Jack will be in S3" thing? He's just in the finale? Well HELL. Medical student, blue suit and no Jack?

Must. Remain. Calm.

ETA2: Think I figured out what it is about the blue suit - it's so much of one solid color, and a fairly vivid color, that his face with the brown hair and the brown eyes just kinda fades/disappears/gets washed out. Whereas the brown suit with the blue accents really complimented his features - a very finished look for him and a complete package.

And since I'm talking about which colors look best on DT, which is not likely to happen again unless hell gets A/C, I don't like him in black either. (e.g., RotC/AoS) And there you go.

One thing occurs to me about the blue -- the 6th Doctor had a blue outfit for one (or more) of his seasons. It was a mourning outfit, if I recall correctly. Possibly it's the Doc's way of mourning for Rose?

Still, I'm sure the suit'll look okay once they're on air. :) Publicity photos don't always do folks justice. XD

Arg, the blue is.....just.......uggg. It washes him out. I'm not a fan. I don't mind Martha right now...I guess I'll just have to wait and see. At least we are gauranteed a little bit of brown suit in the Runaway Bride. Is it Christmas yet??
