You know, I hadn't really been blown away when watching the previews for Studio 60, but sooo glad I ended up watching it. I have a new show and would *completely* recommend the first ep to everyone. Go watch!

Have even snagged a Studio 60 icon. Woo!

I only watched the opening bit -- was taping it so didn't feel need to stay up and watch -- and what really caught my eye were the credits. It was like West Wing redux! Same font. Same font color. Hell, the same names more times than not. Was just ... weird.

(But, yeah, I really liked what I saw. Whee!)

I liked it a lot, too, though I refuse to get attached this early in the season. (Networks! EBIL!) I thought Perry in particular was fantastic, and you're right, I didn't see Chandler Bing at all. The relationship between the guys was also compelling, and I'm kind of dreading the slash -- I'd prefer to watch the writers and actors explore the friendship.
