Still no plot for sequel. :-\ Really my only requirement at the moment is that it needs to be on an alien world. That was actually always my plan, but *especially* after the recent RTD statement of lameness that alien worlds are too expensive for Doctor Who, I really want them to get the hell off Earth. What good is having the key to the universe if you stay in one place all the time? Besides, they come back to Earth in later plots. Maybe I should watch/listen to some more classic Who and revisit an old enemy. Hmm. Oooh, maybe going back to something the Doctor "fixed" that didn't really turn out so well like The Long Game and then Bad Wolf.

Wanted to do a silly DW vid, but ran into technical problems. The universe *really* wants me to buy the DVDs. Well, I guess I'll be ordering the new Who book that comes out tomorrow anyway. Even though it's geared towards children. Shut up.

Yeah, I'm probably pretty much over the Doomsday trauma now. If I don't think about it, that is. Although I swear to God, when I caught a S2 promo on SciFi the other day, I had a "wah!" moment. *sigh*

Awww Doomsday trauma. I am living happily in my new Adventures books and looking forward to Torchwood. You know I am not doing S3, but I hope it's great for you. Can't wait to read your fic.

Torchwood should be interesting. I really want to see how Jack got off the game station. They'd better not gloss over that!

And S3 - if I was smart, I'd wait until it all aired before watching any of it. For the fear that I'd just get attached to Martha and then they'd kill her or something. *curls into ball* But I know myself and probably won't be able to resist. However, may skip the Christmas ep. Don't know if I could handle it. From what I've read, just feels like more knife-twisting.

I was so attached to Rose that I know I could never get attached to another like that. Part of the reason for not watcing S3. I really don't like shows that change casts on a continual basis. I love good plots and stories, but I am very much a character investment type of fan. I made it through X-Files when DD left only because the season was about trying to find Mulder and he was in some episodes and the series ended with him. But it was tough.

Yeah, I'm not wild about cast turnover myself. And I've never experienced something like the turnover on DW before. Yikes! It's enough to give one whiplash.
