Gilmore Girls

Heh. Another show that referenced BSG. I'm starting to think the CW network is getting paid for ad space or something.

Rory and Lane were *obviously* not aware that any time a woman 1) throws up, 2) faints, 3) even *thinks* about either throwing up or fainting, it means she's pregnant. DUH. This is TV 101. Of *course* Lane is pregnant. Do feel kinda bad for her with having horrible sex just the once to get herself knocked up. Although not too bad since if she didn't want to get pregnant right away, why didn't they use some sort of birth control? This confuses me.

Luke and Lorelai is over. Over over over. And I'm not really sure I could buy them as a couple again anymore. Liz with that whole "different plains" thing was totally right. Everything about it was sooooo unhealthy last season. Thanks, Palladinos!

Had a pretty "meh" feeling about the rest of the episode. Really want to see Richard and Emily again soon.

Well, according to Lane they used some sort of cheap Mexican drugstore condom.

So, she did use protection. But the odds of them using it correctly with the story she told are slim to none. Now, as to why she wasn't on the pill in this day and age is anyone's guess (but if she HAD gotten at all sick BEFORE the pregnancy, then she might've been throwing up her pills).

And come back GilGranRents, I miss thee. Oh, Emily. Wherefore art thou Emily?

Did she say that? I guess at that point, my mind was starting to wander. Heh.

Hmm. Maybe I wasn't in the room when all this happened.

Right right.

Good point. Although then she probably wouldn't have been in the mood. :D

They totally need a Friday night dinner of awkwardness!

In amongst her giant rant about not being ready to be a mother, I definitely heard something about Cheap Mexican Condoms.

True enough. But really, one would think they would know to be better prepared and that, logically, sex on the beach should at least be the third thing you try. But then, I fear the outdoors. :P

Yessssssss. And even though I becoming less and less and less a Luke/Lorelai shipper, I really want Emily to just bitch-slap (verbally) some sense into those two. She can berate Lorelai about her ultimatum (seriously, as much TV as that woman watches, one would think she'd know how those turn out), and sleeping with Christopher. And then she attack Luke about the whole not-telling-Lor about April bit...and erm...buying the huge beautiful house?

Ha! Well, that would do it. :D

Yeah, they both need a good slap upside the head. Not sure it would really help though. I mean, the whole of last season Luke kept keeping Lorelai at arm's length which was really really bad. Not sure he'd be any different if they started up again.

Blast! I missed it!

What was the BSG reference?

Poor Lane...that sucks that her first time got her pregnant so she wont be able to have tons of newlywed sex. Perhaps it's a false alarm??

Where will Lorelai and Luke go from here though? Will we just get a season of them moping and going on horribly bad blind dates? I feel for all the customers at Luke's diner. They have badly scrambled eggs and burnt batter to look forward to.

Oh, TJ mentioned it. I forget what it was in reference to.

I doubt it. Although that would be interesting.

Yeah, if it is the last season, it may kinda suck. :-\

I like to forget that last season ever happen. Because from the moment Mary Sue April entired the picture it went to hell. GG ended with season five for me.

Yeah, I have *no* idea why on earth the thought April would be a good idea. Kid plots NEVER work. NEVER.

Long lost kids only work on daytime. And I think that's because relationships on soaps have so much more history. And even if the couple has only been together for a couple years it feels like long because we don't just get 22 episodes of them. We get them five days a week every month through the whole year.
