Bleh. Feel groggy - that sort of almost hung over but not quite. But then had wine with a friend last night. zzzzzzzzz.

Last night I dreamed I went to a Con. Have never been to a Con before - I'm sure it was due to seeing all the Con reports on my flist lately. Do Cons normally have security checkpoints and gorgeous hunky men? Damn. Maybe I wasn't at a Con but an army recruitment expo.

Also sadness as the NBC online panel thingie I'm on, bombed out just as I was telling it that I do watch the SciFi channel and I've heard of Doctor Who, Stargate SG-1 and Battlestar Galactica. And I was getting ready to tell them *exactly* what I wanted for S3 of DW as I'm *sure* they would have asked, as they have absolutely no say in that show whatsoever. NBC marketing minion - "Wow, this panelist is...a bit off. The question was 'what do you like about Stargate: Atlantis' and she wrote a 10 page essay on Doctor Who..."

Just. So. Tired.

ETA: That's it. The latest DW books keep getting delayed over here on Amazon. I think I may just do Amazon.uk and pay international shipping. Otherwise I *may* get them next August. BAH.

ETA2: Yup. A fool and her money are soon parted.

*snort*

Checkpoints maybe but gorgeous hunky men? Are we talking the actors or the participants?

Participants, if I remember correctly. There were a few of them bitching about the security points. And they all had duffle bags. Hmmmm.

Were you at an airport? Was it an Airport Con?

Hmmm. I don't *think* so. But you never know.

Really? Everyone should go to at least one con in there life.

No security checkpoints, at least not at the cons I've been too. Hunky men on the other hand there can be.

I've been threatened to be taken to a Con before, but nothing so far. One of these years I should go to ComicCon, which is just down the road.
