Things are sort of starting to come together in my mind. I've got a setting and a sort of character-driven sub-plot. I may even blow things up, and we all know how the Doctor likes to make things go boom. As soon as I can get the whole thing to play out in my mind, I can start writing it down.

But I'm having character-losing angst. I had six characters in the TARDIS at the end of the last fic, and that's just not feasible. *Three* would be a handful already. Of course, there can't be this mass exodus, which would be just as ridiculous as getting them all in there in the first place. Heh. Besides,

manticoran would most likely unfriend me if I ever got rid of Jack.

I don't want to lose characters! MINE! *CLINGS*

*sigh* I really am resigned to it, though. Have already written a scene involving an exit. Poor Doctor. I'm thinking that even if he had Rose back, he'd still have a bit of angst at someone leaving. *PETS*

Also, I think I'm going to have to write Martha POV in the sequel, which makes me a bit skittish. I took a few small details that we knew about her character, but in actually writing her, she's pretty much an OC - there's nothing onscreen that I can have her parrot, even if I'd wait until S3 came out. My Martha undoubtedly bears no resemblance to canon Martha. At least I have a pretty firm picture of my Martha in my mind, but still, there won't be anything to hold her up to to make people say, "that's *so* Martha." And that unnerves me a bit. Ah well.

Sounds interesting. :) Well, you could have some of them explore the TARDIS whilst others were off doing something else. And not as a throwaway plot point, either. It could have a purpose, ya know? and then you tie everything together at the end. Of course, don't ask me how to do this, as I have never been any good at plotting, alas.

Ooh, that's a good idea. I'm gonna have to squirrel that thought away to possibly use later!

And plotting - yeah. I'm *really* not used to having to try and come up with actual plots. It's hard!
