Well, I had a feeling they were going to nuke L.A., just from the preview last night. So let's get to the really important thing...

Who's that guy in the promo? The one with the glasses that said they should have killed Jack when they had the chance? I know we've seen him before, but all the 24 seasons tend to blur into a big blurry thing involving lots of ammo.

I've decided I rather like this 2 hours at a time thing. They should just air it all like that. Yeah! And...12 days in a row! Yeah yeah!

The show is just as tense as ever. Most commercial breaks involved me first ungripping the blanket. Heh.

the guy with the glasses-he was last seasons baddie. he was the actor that played the doctor on ER that had the helicopter land on him. i guess this is a bit of a tie in that those guys from last season haven't gone away.

I was shocked that Curtis was killed-and that Jack did it.

I'd forgotten that he was the guy from ER as well! Pretty sure I knew that last year - the memory isn't what it used to be apparently.

I knew there was going to be trouble with Curtis, I just didn't realize he was going to be our first big death of the season. *sob* And then poor Jack, afterwards! I needed tissue, myself. Poor man. And of course he can't be allowed to rest; he has to go fend off nuclear explosions and such.

*snerk* This is why sometimes in the middle of the season I have to take a break and let a few episodes build up. I can't take the constant cliffhanger endings, I swear. It's easier to let them roll into on another, like I'm watching it on DVD (which is how I watched the first couple of seasons, so I got spoiled).

Yeah, that's totally the way to watch 24. Sadly, I can't seem to wait for DVDs. (This doesn't bode well for S3 of DW for me, does it?)

Well, Curtis was getting pretty long in the tooth for a 24 character. I mean, he's been around since season 4, so he was almost due for death. I think he was also one of the less liked characters in the show, for various reasons, so this probably worked out well for getting rid of him.

Rocket Romano, though I don't remember what the name of his character is from 24. I think it's "bluetooth man", since he was always wearing that bluetooth headset last season. He's a confederate, or even controller, of President Logan.

I'm with KS on the way this show should end. Let Jack die cause watching him lose his friends one by one is just painful.

I stopped watching ER before...or right around when Romano came on board. So I'm aware of him, but he's not someone I obviously instantly recognize. Not like if Noah Wylie had popped up.

It's one of those characters that just sticks with you. Lost was so confussing that first season with Charlie (Jack) and Charlie. But for so long Matthew Fox was Charlie it took awhile to see him as Jack.

And before I spoil you by saying this out loud. You've seen the last episode right?

I thought Jack killing Curtis was Jack's last straw. Man was I wrong, about that. I kept screaming OMG into my pillow through the whole break when they showed us who Jack's brother was. But at least it's only his brother and not his father too.
