This is the closest I have to a Harry Potter icon.
On to more important things than the Aqua Teen Hunger Force terrorizing the greater Boston area... Apparently the last Harry Potter book will be coming out on July 21. At which time a good 85% of my flist will undoubtedly shut down. (And at which time I'll most likely have to compose songs involving the Doctor and Rose that I'll then sing to myself for entertainment.) I've watched the movies and am vaguely aware of what's happened in the books (one day I *will* get the UK audio to listen to in my car), so I have a mild curiosity of what will happen in this final book.

And where are the options for Dumbledore and/or Sirius going all Obi-Wan and not really being dead? And Voldemort being Harry's real dad? YOU KNOW IT'S TRUE.
Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Snape was a vampire. Because Rowling hates us.

Oh man! I *totally* missed that option. :(

Ooooh. Vampire!

Voldemort chucks it all to open a Hello Kitty shop in Diagon Alley.
Oh, if only.

HA!
Oh, if only.
Oh, it'd be an *evil* Hello Kitty shop to be sure. Full of evil pillows. And evil smelly erasers.

I could sing about love and bubble-wrap monsters, and you could sing back about Jack dismantling lite brite bombs...

It's going to be like Christmas, New Years, and my birthday all rolled into one.

I always want to say to those who attack others for their fannish beliefs, "please think of what would think?"
Indeed, I do think that Tolkien or Lucas or JKR or Roddenberry or any other creator would be very disappointed in some of their so-called fans, esp. those who are mean to other fans.

I meant to say
Please think of what the author or creator would think.

Yeah. *sighs*
There's far too much of *needing* to prove others wrong instead of just 'live and let live.'
