*hugs*

Too sick to go to work, but I can't stay home. I don't *think* I'm contagious, (pretty sure this started with being outside all day during Santa Anas on Saturday), so I may call up a friend.

But anyway, I missed a D/R hugging pic yesterday! Why do I always forget about the hug in Father's Day? Maybe because the Doctor and Rose spend much of the episode fighting. Also, [livejournal.com profile] manticoran showed me a cut scene from Dalek which had a hug! Wasn't aware of this cut hugging before! Since I'm still sick - more hugging pics!

Seeing the little scene, I can understand why it was cut. It was a bit over the top. CE drops the big-ass gun and *slams* into BP. Five seconds later you'd have expected shagging against the wall. (WOO! *waves D/R flag*) But anyway, they walked a pretty fine line in this episode with where the D/R relationship was at that point, so it was probably much better it was cut. But still - *PETS THEM*

Father's Day - after all the fighting is over.

I hate that they cut that hug. I read some spec that it was so real and full of need that they had to take it out. Nine was taking so much comfort in her phsyically and I guess that was a little more then they wanted to show. Sniff I miss my ship.

It was really intense, that's for sure. I wouldn't have minded a hug there, since I think the Doctor *was* really distraught at that point, but it needed to be re-shot, since it came off a bit cartoony.

You've made me want to read Nine/Rose fic now...

Hope you feel better soon!

They were snifty, weren't they? And prone to fighting. Heh heh. (At least pre-Father's Day. After that, it'd downshifted into the occasional bickering.)

And thanks.
