Probably wasn't good I watched this while under the weather. The finger cutting thing? BLECH. For once I'd love to see it where Jack gets an answer without cutting body parts off. Maybe someone would just *give* him the answer and then Jack would shake his hand and walk away. But then he wouldn't have a chance to call up Chloe to do a secret special favor for him, would he? Oh yeah. Total love. (Right. I'm thinking the NyQuil has now kicked in.)

But did we have to revisit the whole consulate thing? Really, really been there and done that. Pointing it out by having a character say "been there, done that" does not make it any less having been there and having done that.

Yay for Tom! I actually "yay"ed when he immediately turned those guys in. Now if only he'd realize his plan to wave bye-bye to civil liberties was bad. However, that probably won't happen.

And now we have another evil President. Or rather, an evil Vice President with the President's powers. Why do I have the feeling this will eventually end with Jack pointing a gun at his head? How many presidents has Jack drawn a gun on now? Seems like a lot. Chloe would know.

I think I'm off to watch Gilmore Girls now (if I can stay awake) since it actually looked pretty good.

yes, anything with Jack, Chloe could totally tell you. I loved how she didn't even question him...just went ahead and did what he asked...seriously, where else does he get that kind of trust...definitely not any of the other women in his life.

Speaking of the other women, where *is* Audrey anyway? Well, it might not make any difference to tell Audrey that Jack's out of prison since he's only going to be heading off to a Russian prison in 12 hours. Of course, that's where Chloe will break him out, since *that's* love. *nods*

Audrey can come back, as long as it's only to come in and try to talk to Jack, only to get killed by Morris who is drunk and distraught over the fact that he realizes that Chloe doesn't love him, but loves Jack. From there they are more than welcome to kill Morris or put him in prison, then Chloe and Jack can have their much deserved moment...before another bomb goes off somewhere...

and if nothing else, Jack speaking Russian? HOTNESS!!! Course that guy can be throwing up and be hot...so not fair!

Jack/Chloe luuuuuv.

Chloe would never even think of questioning him. In that respect she's the smartest person at CTU.

She just does it, doesn't she? Occasionally you get the, "I don't know, Jack," which is quickly followed by "Dammit, Chloe!" Ah, their love-banter...

Yeah, it's so sweet ;) Has there even been any "I don't know, Jack"ing this season? I mean, she helped him break into another consulate. Even Bill had issues with THAT *g*

best way to get over a bad day, put in a 24 DVD and play the Jack Bauer drinking game. everytime he says dammit, take a shot, 2 if he says dammit chloe! Heard that Kiefer found out that college kids were doing that, so he made sure to say dammit like 30 times in one episode! LOL

I actually didn't watch the last 15 minutes because I was kind of over the whole "Jack invades foreign territory and tortures someone with diplomatic immunity" thing. Well, really, I'm kind of over the Jack torturing someone thing period, but the consulate invasion just made it worse. *yawn*

Yeah, that whole thing was just really not all that wonderful considering we just saw that last season.

But she's the only one Jack can trust.

How long before he catches onto the fact the VP is behind this whole thing?

Two episodes? :D

You know, Tom might turn out to be the most interesting character this season. You actually see him questioning himself at times and wading through varying levels of morality.

They did a great job casting Tom with Peter MacNicol. He really is the character to watch this season. It will be intresting to see how long he can play along with the VP's game.

Speaking of the VP and great casting. Nice job with Powers Booth in that role. There is just something about southern policitians that make them so damn good a the BS.
