I've been thinking. In the past, the S/J Terror Alert has been raised and lowered based on...highly secretive reports. Possible WMDs and the like, only Pete-shaped. Yeah. That. But since I don't have my ear to the ground so much anymore, maybe I don't have my finger on the pulse, and other cliches.

Hmm. Martouf seems to be winning.

I choose "Jack" since I'm convinced they're now in a happy, committed relationship that takes place entirely off-screen. And in which they make good use of the answering machine because of the living situation. Y'know, one lives on Earth, the other one lives mostly out in space. Long-distance relationships can be hell. :-P

Indeed... and while I'm not actually that sorry to see the end of it, I will miss the fandom and especially things like the S/J Terror level.

Wait, wait. Just because the show ends doesn't mean the fandom disapears! CASE IN POINT: Doctor Who fandom. Our show was off the air for, what, 17 years? WE WERE STILL AROUND.

Yeah, you're right. But I do understand the energy created while the show is actually on the air.

Oh yes - I am very aware of that. I've been out of the fandom in any major way for quite a while now though and only new episodes (which I haven't even religiously been watching) have kept me around.

I know that it will go on for years, just that the new material will all be fan generated.

(And no, that's not necessarily a bad thing, just I haven't read/watched fan generated stuff for a long time.)
