3x13: Last of the Time Lords
It's an epic and heartbreaking story...

Oh GOD. Why the *hell* does each season have to end in trauma?! And heartbreaking?! Dammit, with all of the Bad Wolf clues thrown in S2 and Torchwood, we're gonna get some sort of frickin Rose sacrifice, aren't we?!

So apparently the Doctor hasn't been slapped around enough? Rose-related or not Rose-related, we wind up with *another* heartbreaking story at the end of this series?

I quit.

ETA: Oh yeah. I am *so* wandering off to my own fic universe, where being a hero does not automatically require melodrama, angst or pain. Bite me, "important" storytelling. pthththththththt!

ETA2: A fic universe with...space pirates! And...bubble wrap monsters! And...NOT EMO ANGST. (Although, I am plotting one of the bazillion Companions leaving in my fic, which does make the Doctor sad and a bit clingy to Rose, since he's had no less than 572 people leave him in his life, dammit!!)

ETA3: Why? WHY? Why can't this show just be fun? WHHHHYYYYYYY?

I was looking up more Doctor Who-themed alcoholic drinks and found this reference:

In the Doctor Who episode The Girl in the Fireplace, the Tenth Doctor claims to have invented the banana daiquiri "a couple of centuries early" during a party in 17th century France.

Banana daiquiris sound way better than that Dr. Pepper/whiskey drink I posted a week or so ago. Happy drinking!

I'd probably be partial to it if I liked bananas...

*facepalm* Oh, RTD, WTF? Epic, I can deal with. Heartbreaking? AGAIN? Wah.

I KNOW. :(

And the title - it's just going to be more Lonely God stuff. BAH!!

Also? The very end will likely feature a WTF moment leading into the Christmas special. Grr.

Yucky. Well, I mean, Jack's leaving, so he'll be lonelier, right? *muttergrumble*

Oh, probably. The Doctor will be sobbing over Rose's dead body and a pygmy hippo will appear and belch.

Yeah. :(

ARG. Apparently there's some sort of...ship? Spacecraft? involved called "the Valiant." Of course, this was the term used for Rose by the Beast in The Satan Pit...

GODDAMN PYGMY HIPPOS.

Space pirates, yay!

You know, I'm sure Sam, Janet and Vala* are looking for someone to join their space pirating crew. Rose can drag the Doctor along; I'm fairly sure that he and Sam will get on in seriously geeky kinds of ways.

* Well, of course Teal'c, Jack, Daniel, and Cameron are there too. But still. Space pirates! There is no better happily ever after to a series than that!

P.S. They can all go on an adventure to rescue Jonas from the Ori. And obviously Cassie can go space pirating on spring break, and we can even drag Lam and Brightman along, because with that group, I'm sure Janet needs a hefty crew in the infirmary.

P.P.S. I haven't seen the second half of s10 yet, and so, I am speculating like mad.

This sounds like a kick-ass world! The Doctor and Rose *so* need to be there. I'm sure they could use the TARDIS.

YES! YES YES YES!!

And of course the bubble wrap monsters are angry and lashing out only because people keep popping their bubbles. So Rose needs to help everyone come to an understanding about not popping any bubbles. Or something. :-)

(Although, I am plotting one of the bazillion Companions leaving in my fic, which does make the Doctor sad and a bit clingy to Rose, since he's had no less than 572 people leave him in his life, dammit!!)

But at least you give him someone to cling to! RTD rips everyone away so he can be THE LONELY GOD (cue impressive music).

*snorts* She'd give them a hug, which would be the wrong thing to do, of course...

BLEH.

Can you e-mail me and tell me what you read?

Oh, they posted a list of all titles and summaries for S3 on OG.
