Okay, I love love LOVE the interplanetary rhino police! It's so...HHGG-ish! HA! Like I was briefly enamored of last year's catnuns, I'm enamored of the rhino police. :D

The Doctor - "Have you seen these things?! There are these space rhino things! I mean, rhinos from space! And we're on the Moon! There are space rhinos with guns on the Moon!" (and then babbling something about bunions that I couldn't quite make out.) BWAH!!
And the "bigger on the inside" thing cracked me up a second time.
I quoted the bit about Rose in my earlier post, but forgot to put in the "I'd rather be on my own." :( Poor Doctor.
Overall pretty entertaining. The plot was very straightforward - rhinos take hospital to the moon to find blood-sucking alien, chases ensue - but then you'd want a simple plot when you've got an important B story.

The Good:

Martha! She was great! (Although she does need to be given a bit more depth, but I'm sure that will come. It's only her 1st ep.) I'm far from putting her into my Top Companions list. Yet. Like how she wouldn't call the Doctor "Doctor" without earning it, she's gonna have to earn my fangirling. Am curious to see what flaw she winds up with, because at the moment she's basically perfect. RTD luuurves giving his characters flaws, so it's gotta show up.

The Bad:

The path they're gonna take Martha. We only saw a wee bit in this episode, but... *cringes* The whole unrequited thing they've got planned. The Doctor with the kiss "It means nothing. Honestly, nothing." but Martha swoons. And then at the end with her flirting away with him, he shoots her down but she's obviously disappointed... *headdesk* Like wiliqueen said, you can't blame Martha. And I don't blame her, I feel bad for her character, knowing where this is going. I'm blaming RTD.

I'm glad you caved and watched. I liked Martha too. She was different then Rose which is something I was afraid of. And I like her interaction with The Doctor so far too. While I'm not thrilled that they seem to be going there. But from the way it was being played out at the end I think it make take awhile for them to get there.

FYI I read that RDA. I'm like WTF does Jack have to do with Doctor Who.

No worries I'm all caught up too. So does that mean that the Doctor isn't the last of his kind?

I really am not sure what it means. Could be that there are other Time Lords out there and the "you are not alone" could have nothing to do with being the last of his kind.
