You can change the prefs as to how many servers have to answer yes before it will flash. If you fiddle with them a bit it shouldn't be as disappointing.

I don't know what that means, but I changed the servers to "2". Hmm...

Well if one server sees an update, you get notified. If a second gets the same update a few mins later, you'll get notified again. This way, at least two servers have to say you have an update - I'm hoping anyway.

I downloaded Semagic just in case. Have now deleted all traces of the Visions client. Semagic makes Visions look like something from the Stone Age.

You know you can make it stop flashing? Right-click on it and up the top there should be a thing that says 'Stop Flashing'. I think it's the most important thing about Semagic. *g*

True. You can turn the flashing off after it has alerted
you, so that's nice. I always double-click on it to post, only to have it come up with the friends page...
