Windmills do not work that way! Good night!

Gilmore Girls

Okay, so everything in this episode vanished from my mind the second that Lorelai started singing "I Will Always Love You" to Luke in the karaoke bar. Like, all serious.

TV: And I......

Me: Oh no. Nononono NO. *CHANGES CHANNEL*

TV: And this is how mushrooms are harvested...

Me: *changes back*

TV: ...will always love yooooou..... *Luke looks down with a smile*

Me: AAAAAAAH!! *RAPID-FIRE CHANNEL CHANGE*

TV: The mating habits of the crab are an oft-debated issue...

Me: Huh.

Veronica Mars

I've missed Veronica Mars. I have. For exactly the reason of the first 3/4 of the show. Veronica's on the case, Keith's on the case, there are snarky remarks, it's all good. But then it got to the speechifying which tended to work on The West Wing, but sounded more like an After School Special here.

Then you had the ending with Piz. Dear God, Piz. Now I'm not someone that's been overly into pairings with this show. Veronica and Logan? TONS of issues. Veronica and Duncan? Duncan creeped me out most the time. But Veronica and Piz? All the chemistry of a fern plant and a hair clip. Makes about as much sense too.

You know, Parker has the personality *of* a fern plant.

And I was really liking this episode until about the last 15 minutes of the show.

Yeah, I had to turn the tv off, I felt that embarrassed for Lorelai. It was like a bad dream.

Now, Veronica Mars was something that I had no trouble watching.

I'll never love Piz/Veronica (Veronica/Weevil beats all OTP's to the ground and spits on them) but I have to say it was WAY better than the pining Veronica of most of the episode. Really, Veronica, you broke it off with him.

I'm just glad Piz finally did something besides stare at her longingly. Although, her reaction to it was a bit rebound, wasn't it?

And ah, did Mac just forget about Bronson?

Very VERY bad dream.

For me it was a toss-up. The pining is annoying, but I actually believe it. That Veronica is all of a sudden OMGPIZ after one kiss from him? Please.

Yeah. This won't last.

And ah, did Mac just forget about Bronson?

Apparently.

Veronica Mars?

*headesk**headesk**headesk**kills Piz*

Erg. You just know that the writers intentionally wrote in these fairly bland characters for Veronica and Logan to hook up with during the breakup.

I'd agree if I hadn't seen so many interviews with the writers saying how much they hate the pairing!

I think it's just that everything character introduced after season 1 sucked.

Jackie, Parker, Piz....ugh.

Veronica needs new friends. :D
