Hmm. New Shows.

Guess there have been some announcements about new fall shows.

Journeyman: a "romantic mystery-drama" about a San Francisco newspaper reporter who starts traveling through time. Oh bloody hell, a time travel show. splash_the_cat is *still* laughing her ass off that I got sucked into Doctor Who, as time travel plot lines drive me CRACKERS as a rule. And they will get it ALL wrong. They will. Paradoxes will run rampant and if I watch, I'll only end up yelling at my TV that there's no *way* a video recording could exist if SG-1 reset the timeline... *ahem*

Life: a cop returns to the force after serving years in prison for a Crime He Did Not Commit. Where he'll get a young, good-looking partner who he'll be able to pass along prison wisdom. I see many profound conversations over coffee.

Chuck: a thriller about a computer geek who accidentally downloads terabytes of government secrets into his brain. "Dude! There *weren't* any WMDs! And Bush went into Iraq because of the squirrels in his pants?? The hell?"

Bionic Woman: *eyes*

Well. BW at least looks pretty? But then again, mishmashed clips of SG: Atlantis make that show look far better than it actually is, so I could be reaching. But Katee Sackhoff will be in leather and evil, so it could be at least yay-worthy.

I don't pay attention beyond my flist to any behind the scenes machinations of any show I watch (like I totally missed when someone called SGA fans 'shrill misinformed lemmings'), so I understand. I don't even try to understand what my flist gets in a tizzy about - the show confuses me enough as it is (goddamn previouslies with the scenes that never aired before).
