"You watched it! You can't unwatch it!"
Yup. Someone has actually metaed that a certain type of fic shouldn't be written - by anyone - based on their own personal view of canon. FIC. You know, fandom's answer to the crap-why-didn't-we-get-this-in-canon question.
Doctor Who fandom, you totally win as now I've seen everything.
Also, *eyes the flist and blames*
Also also, turning off the comments as I have no desire for a puppy-pile of either "YEAH!" or "NO!" or "GIMME THE LINK!" And also because this really needs no discussion since the concept of instructing *others* not to write whatever kind of fic they want for whatever reason and for whatever fandom and for whatever pairing is FUCKING INSANE.
ETA: Man, I'm still boggling over this. It's like saying, "Thou shalt not write John/Rodney SGA penguin!fic because..." or "Thou shalt not write Kara/Anders post-Crossroads BSG fic because..." or "Thou shalt not write [whatever pairing] in [whatever setting] because..."
