Mystery Pic

Actually, this is really for [livejournal.com profile] emry but we figured more people would see this on my journal. We've got a mystery pic. Unfortunately, it's a B&W hard copy that was scanned, so it's quite hard to make out. It looks like it was originally from some promo shot, but we have no idea where, why, how, etc. There's always a chance this was someone's photo manipulation.

Does anyone have any info on this pic?

Thanks muchly!

TYK! Jack had found the pic, and knew he wanted to "cast" Kirsten Dunst as that particular NPC. It ended up being a much much harder way to do it, but he liked the picture in general too, and it worked out.

We cracked up when we saw...oh, damn, blanking on the name. Political black comedy with Dustin Hoffman as a Hollywood producer hired to invent a war to get a President reelected. They fake up a sequence with this girl running through a completely digital village-being-bombed, and somebody gets the idea in the middle of the shoot to have her holding a cat, but of course it's too late to get a cat, so they have her holding a bag of chips.

The girl? Kirsten Dunst.

Yup, that's it.

Of course, I also giggle at that scene (a) because it's so much more labor-intensive than that, even with still photos, and you sure don't do it on-the-fly during principal photography!! {chortle}, and (b) because the tech guy is doing it with the keyboard. {snarfle} I swear most of Hollywood has yet to discover this thing called a mouse...
