I was on the computer for so long today, I finally had to get off and, you know, go outside. Breathe air and all that. I've got *pages* of DW Utopia reaction posts on my flist, when normally there'd be a handful. Heh. But I obviously was on the computer way too long today since I'm starting to quickly get a headache again. I'll try and catch up reading posts tomorrow. Until then...



manticoran keeps trying to tempt me the way of Doctor/Rose/Jack. And...after Utopia with Jack talking about watching Rose a couple of times when she was growing up? I'll have a group cuddle now, please.

Jack: Are you *sure* I can't interest anyone in some sex?

Doctor: NO.

Rose: Now hold on...

Doctor: NO. This is weird enough as it is. In fact, I'm fairly certain I should be feeling some sort of masculine...thing right now.

Jack: Really? You can't?

Rose: Okay, pretty sure I can. Oh, nope. Sorry. It's a pen.

Jack: A *pen*?!

Doctor: NO! Masculine...something... My masculinity is...what's-it... Threatened masculinity! Ah ha! That's what I was trying to say!

Rose: So are you? Threatened, I mean?

Doctor: Don't think so, no. However, this is all still deeply weird and I'm suddenly not really liking the thought of you touching Jack's pen. Right! Group cuddle's over! Here we go. Onwards and upwards!

Jack: Tease.

I know what you mean, there are quite a few reaction posts *blink*. I've never been tempted to go down the Doctor/Rose/Jack paths, not even with the Utopia!hugging or the "this regeneration is cheeky" remark :P

I don't think I could ever *actually* go the Doctor/Rose/Jack route though. Too often the character of the Doctor gets in the way for me. He's just...really old fashioned. And when it comes to sex, he's all bark and no bite. So I keep getting the notion he'd be *extremely* weirded out by the serious suggestion. Mwah.

Most the friends that brought me into the DW fandom are, in fact, OT3'ers, so I've read plenty of Doctor/Rose/Jack fic. There are a few I've enjoyed, but there is no question that I'm a diehard Doctor/Rose shipper, through and through.

I love Jack -- absolutely and completely. But I like him as the "slut puppy best friend", the one who loves and supports the Doctor and Rose unconditionally and does his best to make sure they stop dancing around each other and start ... well, dancing with each other. *g*

Yeah, I'm afraid I am as well. However, I'm sure there's plenty of good D/R/J fic out there. The dynamic those three had was great.

Slut Puppy Best Friend! HEEE! Yeah, you know Jack loves the Doctor, and clearly loves Rose by what they gave us in the way of him watching Rose grow up plus his reactions at thinking she was dead and then finding out she was alive. But he *knew* the situation. Heh. The Doctor made him very aware of the situation when he first stepped foot on the TARDIS. *snickers* And so I loved that Jack tells the Doctor "I'm sorry," in finding out about Rose being trapped. He knows exactly what that all means to the Doctor.
