I'm half-way considering a permanent LJ account, just because of the 20 extra icons I'd be getting, which is sad. However, LJ being twitchy today is also kinda making me go off in a Do Not Want place.

I've got a permanent account, and I mostly haven't regretted it, although I was a little unsure of my investment when it looked like things might be going boom a few weeks ago. Also, they keep upping my icon limit by a few every so often, but I'm not sure when/how that happens. I think my original icon limit was 120-something, and now it's 138.

I might just do it. I mean, I'm up for renewal here in a bit, and I really don't have any plans of going anywhere. Of course, I do and the next day I decide I get sick of LJ and never post again. :D (Yeah, right.)

HA! I was the same way. :D But then I remembered telling myself recently that I probably wouldn't renew my subscription for extra icons when it expires (whenever that is) because I've basically stopped using them. I've gotten to the point where I bring down the icon menu, get overwhelmed by all the choices, and end up just going with my default. Heh.

Yet still, the extra icons are tempting.

My problem is that I'm tired of all my Doctor Who icons that I've had forever, but yet, I do not want to get rid of any. And that's a valid excuse to pay out $150, right? ;)

I've had a perm account since the last sale (or maybe the sale before? don't remember) and I love it. :D $150 is a lot to shell out all at once, but it's a better investment then constantly renewing a paid account, in the long run.
