Why do I find it amusing that no one has ticked the "old Doctor" box yet? Are we that hard up for an OTP that we'll throw DT's damn good looks under a bus just to get the shippy?
AHAHA! I think I had kind of a delayed reaction to that, too! There was just so much STUFF going on that I think ten minutes after the show ended, I kind of went: "WAIT. WHAT DID HE DO TO TEN?!"

And now I'm seeing the Master as having a secret notebook of Evil where he makes up elaborate plots in the middle of the night, hopped up on caffeine, and half the instructions are scribbled over in pen, or there are notes in the margins like, "Not feasible. Cannot find 200 baby cabbages at 3:00AM." or "Needs llama".
And I was totally laughing at the fangirl, "NO! NOT THE FACE!" reaction. In a good-natured, fellow seer of the hotness of David Tennant way, of course*
For some reason there are quite a few people who want Lucy to be Romana or the Rani or whatever. Personally, I think it's WAY cooler if she just happens to jive with the Master's point of view on the universe. I'd hate to discover that he's brainwashed her or something.

The Rani I could *maybe* understand. But the Rani would have kneed the Master in the balls and done the world domination thing herself.
Romana's a bit more of a "WTF?," however, she also would have kneed the Master in the balls and shut down the Paradox Machine before he even had a chance to use it.
Basically it boils down to both of them kneeing the Master in the balls instead of doing, um, other things. ;)

You really never know though. The Master's *thing* was hypnosis, so I guess I wouldn't be surprised. However, evil humans do exist and I think it'd be a bit cooler that way.
