I really liked that Martha got to keep all the experience she got during the year that wasn't. And I really hope she pops up again with all her new skill intact and gets to save the planet a few more times, because as much as I didn't quite like her at the beginning, she's really grown on me.

I said in another post that I thought she'd make a better ex-companion than a companion. After this episode, I actually wouldn't mind seeing her again as opposed to everything up to this point, when I was just so DONE with the character. But with the Doctor, she was always going to be doing that comparing thing in her head. As well as in spite of *logically* knowing the Doctor was never going to have that kind of relationship with her, emotionally she probably would still be hoping for it. And she's just kind of held back when she's like that.

I'd metaed about Martha having her own perception filter when it came to the Doctor a while back. Nice to see she's got it completely off now.
