PotC

Got a Pirates of the Caribbean question:



So in watching the movie a second time I noticed something I didn't see the first time. On the Isle of Rum did Elizabeth fake being drunk? Just trying to get Jack drunk so she could light her bonfire?

And dang it! I totally forgot that I was supposed to stay until after the credits. Still have not seen the ending...something about a monkey?

Anyway, it was just as fun the second time around and I had the same feeling I did after the first time: I wanna see this again!

If anyone has never experienced the original PotC ride on which the movie was *very* loosely based, this site has pictures, audio and a home video of the ride. :)

IMO, she was definitely faking it. In that last 'swig' she takes before Jack passes out, you can see that the rum never even goes into her mouth.

And yup...the monkey ;)

Totally didn't catch that the first time. And my friend (who saw it for the first time) didn't catch it this time around. Funny.
