Bruce Campbell! I would love it if he just turned up in Doctor Who. I'm not sure I could take him being in DW all the time. I'm just enjoying seeing him on TV regularly once again in Burn Notice.

BTW, do you think he can fake a British accent? I can't remember if I've ever seen him in anything where he did that.

No, DUDE!! Do you remember those crazy-ass meta episodes of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys they did toward the end of the series when they were running out of ideas?

So there's some disaster in England and David Tennant goes missing and so the producers of DW start brainstorming ways to have the show without him, and after they discard the idea of an animated series (because they'd need David to do the voice) and they remember that wait, this is DW, actors leaving is not a problem, they pitch Bruce as the first ever American doctor, and we see like a two-minute clip of how Bruce would do that role. Which would be awesome.

But then David would finally show up and everyone would be YAY! And there would be some heavy-handed hinting that David Tennant is actually the Doctor playing David Tennant playing the Doctor. And then since they are Brits they would have tea and scones.
