Hmm. Suppose I should get going - car place opens at 8.

Niobe! Noooooooooooooooooo!! :(

This is what I was talking about earlier with every character having something you both love and hate about them. Niobe had her faults (hello, sleeping with her sister's husband, which isn't too great even if she thought Lucius was dead) but I still liked her. She was, in spite of her past, a good person. And even though Lucius was mad as hell at that moment, he LOVED her.

WAH!

:(

Oh right. And Caesar's killed on the Senate floor.

Wasn't sure where exactly the story arcs would fall, so wasn't exactly expecting that. Also, they tricked me in calling the episode "Kalends of February" instead of "Ides of March." :D

Backing up an episode, I was getting a bit sniffly when Lucius was watching Pullo in the arena, who was struggling on, taking everyone down in the name of the 13th. And then Lucius jumped into the arena! Yaaaaaaaaaaay! And then because of it, they become the symbol of brotherly love in Rome. Ha!

Speaking of Pullo, as much as I think it'd be sweet for he and Eirene to actually wind up together, would she seriously ever forget that he was the one who brutally killed her fiance?

Oh, and switching gears yet again, I really can't decide who I'm pulling for when it comes to the two noblewomen. At first Servilia had my sympathies since Atia is just a harpy (or whatever it was that Mark Antony called her - it was fitting.) But Servillia has shown herself to be equally as cold and ruthless. I know from my sketchy history that Octavian (Atia's son) becomes Augustus Caesar (succeeding Julius Caesar), so the next season should be interesting.
