- I've decided that Richard Armitage is mentally rolling his eyes when he spouts his ev0l lines.
- Sir Guy: Obey me or I will drown your puppies. *DEEP HEAVY MENTAL SIGH*
And it actually has the effect of this bad guy being rather 3-dimensional. :D But anyway, he totally owns whatever scene he's in, like when he's asking Marian to the archery competition. Guh. Meanwhile, Robin did...something. I'm sure he did. Oh, wait. He shot fire arrows into the mine...with verve!- Robin: Never stop thinking about the outlaws! *skips off into the forest*
Sheriff: *stomps and gives Sir Guy another speech about how women are icky*
Guy: *DEEP HEAVY MENTAL SIGH*
I...I think I may be loving this show, just in watching Richard Armitage doing mental facepalms. :D - I have now seen Ten (the Doctor) in llama form. It totally is. ETA: The picture is now unlocked and apparently it's an alpaca - Ten!alpaca isn't as fun to say.
- I still owe people drabbles, and I need to actually *focus* on fic writing as I've started a Nine/Rose fic, and now have a plot to work out on my Ten/Rose fic. Sometimes I'm as bad with writing as I am with reading.

Also, how much do you love the text that tells us where we are? I think there was a scene one where they didn't use that and I was totally lost as they were in a forest with trees and such.
And yes, Richard Armitage is so many wonderful things. And he's those things with that hair and that outfit. Come on Marian! Robin spends all his time trying to get close the Sheriff and running around the forrest with men that describe themselves as 'merry' while wearing chaps. Do the math!
*kicks computer for the llama picture comes up with the red x of doom for me*
Yesh, you need to write. *offers a cookie from a plate full that you will not get the rest of until the fiction is written*

Half the time it scares the crap out of me, because of the sound effect they do with it - I think someone's being shot.

My favourite Robin Hood interpretation was "The Legend of Robin Hood" made by the BBC in 1975 - perhaps because I watched it after school when I was much younger. It had only six parts, and was more of a historical drama than anything else, but I really liked it. And I only just realized that Paul Darrow, who went on to fame as Avon in Blakes 7, played the Sheriff of Nottingham. If have to say, it did have a lot of good acting in it, regardless of the fact that a lot of scenes were indoors and hence involved a fair bit less action.
