They were saying that colored or permed was okay, but bleached or highlighted - no. But I haven't done anything like that to my hair for years. The people were spazzing out about my "virgin hair." :D
Hmm? Oh, right. Hair. I don't know if mine will ever be long enough to donate. I keep thinking about growing it out just for that but haven't quite gotten to it. Doesn't it need to be a minimum of 10 inches for the donation?
And how do they tell the difference between coloring vs. bleaching and highlighting? I mean, I color mine but I do it myself at home. I don't think it involves bleach.

Every time I see a McDonalds, I think of your quest for game pieces. But I never actually make it there to eat something, and so I've got nothing to give you.
My McDonald's tried to cheat me out of *four* game pieces today! There were none on my drink or my Big Mac. I went up to the desk and went, "Excuse me, but there appears to be no game pieces on my Big Mac or drink."
And she went and got me two hash brown wrappers and gave them to me. But only because I complained! I am highly disillusioned.
Thanks! I've always had longer hair, but never have done this before. And I was in a very "eh, whatever it looks like, it'll grow back" mood. (Actually, I'm pretty happy with the new do.)
This makes me happy. My hair has never been long enough to do this (although maybe perhaps it was when I was smaller), but hearing and seeing people do it is just so generous and it warms my heart. : )
I did that last month, and I'm having so much fun with my newly short hair. I was going through the pics on my laptop this morning, and I saw some pics that we took of a weinerdog sign. I think they might have been originally intended for you gals. LOL
