Nothing

This is a post about nothing. Seriously. I'm tired of looking at my icon post when I open my journal.

*spams friends list*

It's weird. I almost never actually open my own LJ. I always go to my friends page. Once in a while I'll look at my LJ, but not even every day. I guess I just can't handle looking at the crap I spout! ;)

BTW, is the "nothin'" icon new? I like the new offset style that you did with this and the one for Jara. I'm seriously lagging in coolness and design of mini-movie icons.

The icon is just a redo of my first one. Used the same animation, but decided I wanted to spruce up the base now that I've figured out out to use transparencies. :)

Yeah, I recognised the animation, although I think you changed the caption. I used the same one for my "Jack dreaming about Sam stripping" icon.

I'm going to have to do some transparency icons. I have ideas for at least 2 more mini-movie icons, and I think possibly a third. They just take so looooong to do! I also have to make my movie smaller so that I can get more animation in - managed 28 frames on my "going underwater" icon today, but wanted more. Have to see what I can do.

I did change the caption. Jojo had suggested it back when we were working on those first ones and I decided I liked it better after all. They do take forever to do. Think I need to intersperse fun with icons with other things. Like writing.

A very good idea. After I do a couple more, I think I'll take a break for a while and do some regular icons - still need to cap Evolution 1 and make some Fandom icons from that.

Heh heh. I never used to open my own journal, but now I've got all these great navigations that I use a lot.

Well my style for my own page, friends page, calendar page, and by day page is identical, so I have all my links on each of them. I guess that's how I manage to survive!

Although, from looking at your LJ, it seems to be the same for you. So you really shouldn't need to visit your own page at all. :D

You know, I think I do it when I'm in other people's journals. It's just easier for me to click on my own name to get back to do things.

[identity profile] chiroho.livejournal.com 2003-09-09 12:53 pm (UTC)(link)
I can understand how that works.

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2003-09-09 12:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah. And then there's the fact that I can't respond to LJ comments out of my inbox like I used to be able to do. I have to go to LJ now.

[identity profile] chiroho.livejournal.com 2003-09-09 01:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Really? That's weird. I wonder why. I don't have any sort of problem - and I think I'd be lost if I did! ;)

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2003-09-09 01:09 pm (UTC)(link)
I used to be able to but then my email service "upgraded" a while back and now it's not compatible. Oh well.

How unfortunate. :(

More nothing

This is a comment about nothing.
