First of all:

Hooray for Futurama being back! WOOO!!

Cons:

• It started out kinda of weird. They were busy mocking Fox for canceling them, so it didn't feel like part of an episode, you know? But I forgive them.
  
  
• I guessed the twist pretty early on, but I also forgive them because AWWWWWWWW.

Pros:

• LOADS of references to past episodes.
  
  
• Hysterical "non-paradoxical time travel." *snorts* (And when you've got time travel in Futurama, we all know what day that will involve. MWAH.)
  
  
• More than a few times I laughed out loud.
  
  
• My new favorite word is Sphereoboom! It's got so many uses! Like, "my favorite doomsday device is the Sphereoboom." See?
  
  
• NEW FUTURAMA!

I can't wait to watch the commentary on this. The commentaries on Futurama episodes were always just as funny as the actual episode. I seem to recall one commentary where they carried on a conversation the whole time that basically had nothing to do with the episode. :D

It don't know! It's only out on DVD, but it's feature-length at an hour and a half instead of just the normal 22 minutes. (I think there will be 4 more DVDs released later?)

Fox-mocking is a competitive sport for most Simpson derivative shows (my favorite is still from The Critic) and I totally don't mind. I haven't seen it yet, so the break in the fourth wall is probably jarring.

NO ONE AROUND HERE HAS IT. I think I'm going to have to drive to Best Buy. Woe. (On the plus side, I still don't have Season 2, and I think I can get it for $20 with Bender's Big Score. So yay for that).
