  • It's raining! But surprisingly enough I don't feel manic. (As seems to be the norm for Southern Californians who often waver back and forth between "EEE! A PUDDLE ON THE GROUND!" and "OMFFG, WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE!" For as laid-back as we collectively are, rain might as well be a meteor shower that's pretty, but also has the potential to put a hole through your roof.)

  • I got behind on Robin Hood (watching and posting), and hope to catch up this weekend. Especially since the bestest thing to ever happen on this show, happened in "Show Me the Money." Yes, even better to me than RA's chest.

  • I kinda felt bad for the designers on this one, just because I wanted them to all have an extra day to finish. They all seemed really short on it - didn't the winning design only have 2 pieces? But I guess it is survival of the fittest, and that means being able to gage what you're able to do and have the ability to manage your time.

*files away [livejournal.com profile] wiliqueen's post on it for later, possibly while having popcorn. or a big latte*

  • It's Friday, and thank God.

I was actually grinning when is starting raining in the wee pre-dawn hours because...RAIN. In California! About time! (Plus, it's Nature's Car-Wash! And lemme tell you, my car appreciates it). I wasn't all that happy when my roommate overslept and I had to rush her to school because it was COLD! But not even the rain can get me down because I've written a total of 15 pages of mind-numbingly tedious research (and let me say that the second part of my icon says how I did it!) and its FRIDAY! And I can come home and sleep to make up for the lost hours. *weeps with joy*

Now to bundle up and steal someone's umbrella. [Which makes me rather sad and nostalgic 'cause I remember being a girl of 12 or so and going out to ride my bike in the rain and jump into puddles and now I shiver at the mere thought and crave piping hot tea!]

*wishes you a fantastic week-end*

That is one HUGE plus about the rain this time around - it's the first big one after the fires, and everything needed a good hose-down.

I'm kinda hoping it'll last, because I do like sleeping to the sound of the rain.

Have a good weekend too!

*giggle* My PR posts are kinda getting into that eat-the-world neighborhood, aren't they? It's scaring me a little...

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2007-11-30 08:14 pm (UTC)(link)
I love them! Especially how you give caps of each outfit so I can remember what the hell they all looked like!

Can't take credit for that; I stole the idea from [livejournal.com profile] meiran. :-)

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2007-11-30 08:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, it's still great!

I still laugh when I think about you and Karen seeing that cloud in Boston and being all worried about rain.

Wienerdorks.

Non-sunny weather is confusing and scary!

[identity profile] brilliantomega.livejournal.com 2007-11-30 08:13 pm (UTC)(link)
"EEE! A PUDDLE ON THE GROUND!" and "OMFFG, WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE!"

Sadly this is true. That and the confusion that they get wet in the rain.

Oooo and like above - Free Carwash! Yeah!

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2007-11-30 08:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Heh heh. It's is so like "Um...huh. Water? Outside? But there are no sprinklers around!"

PR always brings the lulz. I love that show.

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2007-11-30 08:22 pm (UTC)(link)
I do too. :D

[identity profile] grbggrl.livejournal.com 2007-11-30 08:14 pm (UTC)(link)
I like rain only when I get to stay inside and curl up under lots and lots of blankets. Today I really need to run errands...but I don't wanna! I might get wet!

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2007-11-30 08:23 pm (UTC)(link)
I was soooooo tempted to call in sick today. :D But yeah, I like staying inside all day too.

Rainy weather here in Pittsburgh is always crappy. With the rough terrain we get a lot of flash floods in the strangest places. And the Rain in the winter time sucks cause it either sit's on top of the snow making pure sheets of ice to drive on or (if it's warm) creates massive slush everywhere.

No, I'm not really into rain that much...

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2007-11-30 09:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, at least we never get snow. That's one thing.

I wish it would hurry up and rain here - I swear, Florida weather is just full of crack. Instead of raining so we could have our one week of cold weather, it's just hanging about, being emo!cloud and making everyone's hair frizz.

Yes, even better to me than RA's chest.

*GASP OF DISBELIEF*

(As seems to be the norm for Southern Californians who often waver back and forth between "EEE! A PUDDLE ON THE GROUND!" and "OMFFG, WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE!"

We are a curious bunch of people that are rarely, if ever, exposed to unusual weather (i.e. anything non-sunny) at our front door. I love the rain and was happily woken up early in the morning to the sound of rain. :D Don't know how long it'll last but I'll enjoy it for as long as it's here.

And I'll just add my love for free Car Wash! My car was also in dire need of it.

Friday!! *WHOO HOO*

It was kind of nice! It would have been nicer if I'd been at home with a giant pot of coffee and a book or game though. Ah well.
