OMG, Christmas is headed straight for us!! RUN!

Still have not gotten a single Christmas present yet. This may be a record for me. Long ago I agreed to babysit during the the day today, so shopping's kinda out. Although I might have to have a present strategy session when I get back.

Since I have to pick the kids up from their Christmas pageant practice, I decided we're going to Kiddie Crack House McDonald's for lunch. I'm the fun Auntie! I'm also the lazy Auntie as we're going to go to the non-playground one and go through the drive-thru. Heh heh heh. Not that they don't deserve the playground - the 4-year-old drew this for me:

Lazy Aunts unite! Instead of going to the playgrounds, I take my two year-old niece on long walks around the neighborhood. It's not like she notices. It wears her out all the same. lol

Now that I'm off work until January, hubby and I are going to drop the kidlet off at school in the morning and then spend the day doing the Christmas shopping. Although I am further along than you...However, he normally gets out of doing any of the shopping so this is my way of making him be involved whether he wants to or not. :)

Disneyland yesterday was *awesome*, although crowded as all hell. The castle is OMG so gorgeous it isn't even funny. I got *stunning* pics!

I made a bit of headway with the shopping. I called all family members involved, *damn* amusing conversations took place, and I really am now looking at gift cards. :D

I can't even imagine the crowds there right now. I saw a picture of the new castle decorations - that was one thing I would have liked to have seen this year. Oh well. I'll have to try and hit it earlier next year.

It's so much fun. And the 6-year-old boy is a *complete* ham. He started acting goofy during practice - this little bell thing they were doing - because he saw me laughing at him the first time he accidentally did something. I had to stop looking at him otherwise he'd have kept doing it. What a goof. :D
