YEEP.

Only 2 episodes per Torchwood DVD? So S1's on 7 DVDs? And no, it doesn't look like one of those DVDs is an Extras DVD. At least per Netflix.

You know, that makes it a bit of a pain in the butt to Netflix. :P But at least I'm skipping the first disk.

(Also, I will never change over to high-def DVDs until I can get a multiple DVD player. I love having a 5 disk DVD player.)

ETA: Whoops. Looks like the 7th disk is an extras disk. But still only 2 eps per disk. BAH.

Wordy-McWord ;-P This is the exact same position THAT I'm in.

Also? I just bought S1 of Torchwoord (I had a gift card I could see no other use for), and the seventh disc is missing! I actually got two copies of disc 6! Hrmph. That being said, all 13 episodes are on the first 6 discs, and the the 7th disc (according to the packaging) is supposed to featurettes. We'll see if that is actually the case when I exchange it tomorrow...

I love it quite a bit. Never mind TV shows, even a lot of movie DVDs come with 2 disks.

ACK!

Oh, looks like you're right! *removes from Netflix* Still, they could have had less disks!

*Nods* It's just silly to spread them out like that.

I got my DVDs in the mail today. And it's on seven disk which seemed odd so I looked at the back. There is hole lot of extras. Including commintaries on every episode.

I guess it's better than shoving them all on two disks and having nothing extra. Unless you're Netflixing them.

I have issues waiting for Netflix sometimes if it's a TV show that I really want to see. Or if I netflix like the first couple of discs, I can't wait for the others. I'm quite adept at finding such things online to stream or to download.

I've got the unlimited 3-at-a-time package, so it's easy for me to see it all on DVD if I shoot them back right away.

I've got the same package and I find it's relatively easy to deal with shows on DVD. I usually send them back a day or two after I get them (though, I'm really only getting these for the commentaries. I love me some commentaries).

I thumb through the extras, but most the time I wander off from commentaries. Short attention span. (Unless it's a Futurama commentary which is pretty much as good as the actual episode.)

Only 2 episodes per Torchwood DVD?

But that doesn't make sense... They could save money in the making of the DVDs if there's one less disc, or more, to consider... right? The price could get something to do with it but since I haven't seen the cost I'm not positive.

You'd think it'd be a bit cheaper. Less disks and also less menus to design...
