Wanted: 1 UK-type person to look at a 3,500 word Nine/Rose fic written by clueless North Americans. Must have the ability to point out anything and everything that offends your British eyes. No Britpick is too small!

P.S. I'm off to bed now, but if there is a ~~sucker~~ wonderful person out there who we will then fawn over, go ahead and add them to the googledoc,

got it - was planning of a friday afternoon in the office not actually working and doing fun lj stuff. Then someone invited me to a meeting that went on forever. do these people not understand???!!!!

How do you want comments btw? I Can do an e-mail or put a different colour text direct into the doc - either way is fine with me.

Different color text is fine. Or if you click on the "Insert" tab, there's a "Comment" button you can use, which will insert a text box next to wherever you want.

I'd quite happily have a look at it, if you need someone else.

I can be very picky if needs be!

Oh, and I'm Southern, so I've got the counterpoint to a Northern beta if you wish :D

Oh, I claim the britpicking midlands ground, if we're having the northerner/southerner argument. I speak pretty good queens english though (just not quite as posh!) I'm pretty picky about grammar and stuff tho, as you know.

Can I be a list that you start of people who get advanced copies of your fic? I will happily use my English degree to beta, but even if you have betas can I still get all advanced copies? I feel this is a reasonable request. *g*

But just think how much better it would be to get it after it's been looked over! All instances of "coffee" will be replaced with "tea"! Much better.

But it is an addiction. I am still dying for teh sequel to Inertia. I am not above offering money and vital internal organs.

Sadly, I just don't think a sequel is going to ever happen. But I dumped some small scenes on my journal a while back.
