Oh, it totally would! Unless you're a mean/bitter drunk. Then you might wind up with a chair through the TV.

I tend to spew "deep" thoughts (as certain people on my flist have first-hand knowledge), and so I'd probably launch into a discussion with myself where by the end I'd completely solve the mystery of the stopwatch as it would somehow be related to the Face of Boe.
