THAT'S NOT FAIR! The last couple of days it's really been, "Man, I wish there was some Torchwood I could watch!" Not that I felt the need to go and watch something again. God, no. I want something NEW. And cracky.
I'm going through it too. I just finished catching up this morning, and now I'm pouting saying, "gimme more!" The whole team just makes me smile, even if it's in a cracky way. Oh, Jack. We get the parallels between you and the Doctor. No need to whap us over the heads with it (but I still luv you for it).
However------(and this is a big one) I think my withdrawl is really just a (semi-poor) substitute for my DW withdrawl. Because it's pretty bad (and I'm in complete denial of it).

I'm blaming the one-liners from Ianto...I think maybe there are subliminal messages during his throw away lines. "I'll go order the plankton," must be a code. I'm far enough gone that I'm finding cheesy Jack lines a bit endearing. But I have yet to visit Torchwood boards, so I think there's hope for me. Even if I do squee when I see Torchwood threads on DW sites.
I know, I was freaked out the first time it happened to me too. I think it was a few days after Sleeper aired that I realized I was missing it. When I was watching season 1 I could safely say I wasn't a fan, but I watched it anyway just to know what Jack was up to while he was away from the Doctor. Then season 2 came along and I say to myself "I'll check and see if it got any better" It's 100 times better! I've gone from "Torchwood? What a disappointment!" to "OMGTORCHWOODSQUEE!"
Yes, I actually miss watching it! And it is freaky! I do like that they seemed to have shaken some things out when S2 rolled around, but love that it's still plenty ridiculous. :D
