First, I was flipping around channels last night, and suddenly realized that Bobby Flay = Owen from Torchwood. I'll now be thinking that when Owen gets off work, he runs off to do a cooking show.

This was one of those wild twist episodes. Another flash-forward, this time about Sayid. I was a bit disappointed to see that Sayid had become a hitman when he left the island. Not in a "they ruined his character" way, but "he's really too pretty to be going around offing people" way.

AND THEN! Then we find out Sayid is working for Ben in the future. O_O And we all know that Sayid is way too pretty to be working for Ben.

I probably don't want to think too hard about the physics involved relating to an isolated time bubble on a planet, do I? No, didn't think so. Wow, it's like they're taking every sci-fi thing ever done and shoving it into one show.

But...but...we got to see him shirtless and pretty. With fabulous hair to boot! I can forgive a lot for that. And Sayid is my favorite, so there's that too.

Well, when is Sayid not pretty? ;) But I did love the cleaned up look too. Very good hair there.

It seems Ben or someone is using his friends as leverage to get him to do it. Ben said you want to protect your friends don't you? Do you know if Walt and Michael will be on the show again?

ETA: Just wondering did you ever finish watching Veronica Mars? Did you watch any of S3 or did you lose interest during S2?

OH! Is that what he said at the end? There was a line I missed at the very end - I couldn't make it out. Lost is about the only show where I feel the need to put on CC sometimes because I miss things. But I didn't have it turned on last night.

And I'd never rule anyone out as far as seeing them again.

I still loved it but I admit that it was a case in which the fandom started to turn me off the show. If they ever do do a DVD movie or minseries, I hope that Rob Thomas stops going online and takes VM back to its roots in S1.

You could have something there. Maybe that's why Hurly and Jack are being weird about it too.

I never got involved in VM fandom. Was that part of the problem? He spent too much time listening to online fans?

IMO yes he did. He even gave TWoP shout outs on the show. The fandom devolved into certain people hating Veronica and KBell and idolizing Logan and Jason Dohring. There is even a KBell hate comm and there was one set up for people who wanted the show cancelled. To me, VM in S3 may not have been as good as S1 and even S2, but t was still an excellent show with complex characters and stories. But the hate was abundant, LOL but then I joined something called DW fandom and realized all my past online experiences were like cotton candy in comparison.

Yup. Owen's been better lately, but I still can't quite reconcile myself to him.

I still haven't found a character I really completely love on this show. I want to love Jack, but most the time they make me not really care about him much.

Yeah. Well, I adore Jack, but at least some of that is a holdover from DW.

I keep running across people who are going just absolutely gaga over Ianto, and... while I like him much better this series? I'm not getting the massive love I'm seeing.

I mean, I'm not going to turn into one of those anti-~~Rose~~Ianto people where I foam at the mouth any time I see someone loving on Ianto, but to me most the time I'm still forgetting that he's there.

Yeah, I'm a bad Torchwood fan. I want to steal Jack away from them and put him back on Doctor Who. Is that bad?

That's good, except that Bobby!Owen is way too floridly tan for someone who spends most of his time underground. Hee.

Given time I would have colour corrected it. But after I looked at it, it just seemed so right to leave it like that!

This one we definitely have to blame on Michelle. She's infected us all!!!!

Now I'm gonna have to think about replacing them all.

See, when I realized Sayid was working as an assasin in the future? I was squeeful. Because Sayid is a morally gray badass, and poor man hasn't gotten a lot to do recently. I'll take character development in an interesting, although morally reprehensible direction over "I carry the gun and look pretty" anyday.

But...THE PRETTY!

Okay, okay. Character development. :D

Kinda makes me wonder what Kate wound up doing. I mean, it's not Kindergarten teacher or anything.

I'm not saying nothing against the pretty, mind.

Oh, god, now I want to go find some Sayid/Sawyer, but I've never had any luck with Lost fic....
