Okay, got home late and promptly watched "A Raisin in the Sun" instead of being on the computer (i.e., responding to comments.) It's weird - I could have sworn it was based on a book instead of a play, and I read the book in high school. Maybe I read the play and that's what I'm thinking of - I swear I read it instead of saw it. P. Diddy was okay, but the women were the ones that really shone. Phylicia Rashad was the only woman I recognized, but I guess the others were from the Broadway cast.

And now, since I pretty much can't go 24 hours without talking about Doctor Who, something new for S4 (snitched from violet_lane):

JACKIE AND MICKEY!!!!!!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!

No idea how much they'll be in yet. Right now there's just a shot of their on-set trailers with their names on the doors.

We'd heard a Mickey rumor a while back, but Noel sort of hand-waved it all off at the time. But hadn't heard a sniff about Jackie! WOOOOO!! After watching AoG/Doomsday this past weekend, I was *really* craving some Doctor-Jackie interaction. Loved their relationship. Hope we'll get to see her beyond the AU world, and that the Doctor and Jackie can spend a bit of time snipping at each other. :D (Hey, a girl can dream, right?)

I read something somewhere yesterday about the doctor getting hurt BADLY towards the end and he needs Sarah Jane and Jack's help. I also read something about Davros being back and somehow he's bringing back a bunch of the "bad guys" from the doctors past, so i'm still trying to figure out how Rose is going to play into all this. It's sounding, to me, like a big reunion, AND something they might do if David is leaving after the specials after all maybe? not sure. But to have pretty much EVERYONE back is....WOW!
I just want ten/rose, that's all.

I've seen that thing about the Doctor being badly hurt, but I've seen it tied to several episodes now, including the Doctor-lite episode. Guess we'll have to see about that one.

I've seen people floating the Davros theory as well, and I wouldn't mind seeing him again. As long as he isn't a creepy puppet. :D
