- I went out last night, so haven't watched the latest Torchwood yet.
- Basically because when I got home I watched Project Runway instead. I kinda wanted Chris to win, just because he's interesting to me, where Rami is apparently technically superior according to the judges (fine, I'll believe them), but his stuff is usually pretty boring to me. What I knew would annoy me to no end no matter who won, was the fact that one of these guys took five months out of their lives to create 12 outfits, 9 of which will now never be seen. It seems really...icky. I don't have another word for it. If they were that deadlocked between the two, they should have instead given them 4 days or a week or whatever, let them use the other two, and come up with 2 outfits and decide right then. Not send them both away to create an entire collection. What a waste.
- I've said it before, but I really think I'm going to try and avoid DW S4 spoilers from here on out. And that includes speculation posts.
- Donna is the S4 companion. (It was tough ferreting that out.)
- Existing characters that will be returning sometime during it: Martha, Jack, Rose, Mickey, Jackie, Sarah Jane.
- There's an Agatha Christie episode that I'm looking forward to since I read so many of her novels as a kid. The only details I know are giant wasps.
- The guy who played Five's real life daughter will be in an episode that will "profoundly change the Doctor." Speculation has run rampant on this one - lots of "she'll be the Doctor's daughter through DNA extraction." Basically it's all speculation at this point yet, and I'm tired of speculating about it.
- Pompeii goes boom.
- Another Doctor-lite episode which appears to feature Donna and Rose. But that assumption is really only based on set reports.
- Donna is the S4 companion. (It was tough ferreting that out.)
- ETA: There is ONE exception to my no new spoiler rule: pics of DT and BP on the set together. That I would totally look at. It'd be impossible not to. The rest of it though? *waves away*
That's pretty much it, and I think that's more than enough. Really, I couldn't be happier to see Rose and Mickey and Jackie again, so I think I'll just leave it at that. And let the show itself make me bounce or break my heart.
Well, I'll try at least. Seriously. Time to get out the Spoiler Cave.

I'm just can't decide if it's better to be forewarned and therefore forearmed; or if speculation is simply self-injurious behavior.

*flashes back to the Toclafane supposedly being unused Time Lord incarnations*

Exactly. And especially in Chris's case, what he did show was so interesting that I'm really rather bummed I won't get to see it. I can only imagine how he must feel.
And do you allow company in the spoiler cave? 'Cause if I let myself pay attention to any more spoliers or speculation, my brain may explode.

Just one of those things you gloss over...

I'll bring the chocolate. Booze and chocolate have been proven to help keep insidious spoiler-viewing impulses at bay. *nods*

Also, for Project Runway, Chris and Sweet P both got to show at Bryant Park as decoys. If you're interested in seeing their collections, they're up on bravotv.com. Although don't go if you don't want to be tempted to look at the other designers collections which are also up there.
I'm too impatient and I've seen all of them. hahaha.

I am glad that Chris did get to show off what he made.

I love being surprised and avoid spoilers if I can...

Shows I already don't really want to read spoilers for are Lost and Torchwood.

Wow, he must be some good actor.

The guy who played Five's real life daughter
Now this phrase can be taken as you meant it or you can look at as talking about some guy playing Peter Davison's daughter.

But anyway, I was really disappointed last night. :| Kind of surprised, too, because the judges seemed to have the most amount of positive and least amount of negative things to say about Chris's three, but whatever. I was disappointed in the art epsiode, too - I was expecting only Chris to get in, Rami's design was nothing new and I don't think it looked all that great. I do think he's a good designer, but overall he bores me.
I saw the five final collections a few weeks ago, and I really liked Chris's the most. Oh well.

And yeah. Rami - it's just dull to me. The judges keep calling it beautiful, but...MEH. I suppose from a fashion/technical standpoint it's good work. It's just really boring to me and everything from him always looks the same.

I actually clicked on the cut just to see if you knew more spoilers than I do. It's an addiction.

Yes way!! Totally wild, isn't it??? OMG.

I definitely won't be able to resist DT & BP on-set spoiler pictures either, but how will we know that's what it is unless we're spoiling ourselves for everything else? ;-)

Oh, yes! That's totally true. Someone comes up with a fantabulous idea, but you KNOW it won't happen, and then get a bit miffed that it doesn't. I went through that a lot with SG-1, and there were a few times with DW's S3 as well.

Damn! We need someone to flag us down for this specific spoiler. :D

Hmm. Maybe I should go over to Bravo's site to see who I think should win now.

And you know I just had a thought: I know RTD swears that they don't read the ramblings of the fans online but do you sometimes wonder if they're the ones who feed us misinformation about what'll happen next season?

Welcome! I'm going to try to stay strong.
And you know I just had a thought: I know RTD swears that they don't read the ramblings of the fans online but do you sometimes wonder if they're the ones who feed us misinformation about what'll happen next season?
THEY TOTALLY DO. This is my firm belief. That way they get to throw in stuff like in Sound of Drums:
Martha: I totally thought the Master would turn out to be your brother!
Doctor: O_O
RTD: [cackles madly]

We complain, but we do loves us some RTD. *Grin*
