In other news, I told hubby today that my friend Michelle had just been diagnosed with breast cancer and he was very concerned for you. "MeRV?" he asked.
"No, the other Michelle. From work," I replied. So he is relieved on your account.
I'm not sure who in their testing department would think it was good. The other sweet drinks - while not my taste - are good enough. I even liked that green tea berry thing they had last year. But this...
yeah, I've become a big fan of the skinny lattes, most of the syrups actually taste pretty good (imo) except the sugar-free mocha....tastes like a rancid tootsie roll pop....ugh! so gross!
Aww..... I only drink honey in my coffee. Sugar is just too sweet (I only use about..1/4 a teaspoon? Maybe?). That said the amount of honey/honey flavor I imagine is going into one of those lattes....bluegh.
I just went to the Starbucks site because I had no idea about the Honey Lattes, and they do look kind of interesting. I would never think of putting honey with coffee, though!
And yes, you HAVE to try it. And since they say the dark chocolate peppermint frappucino in a limited time thing, I have no idea how long it'll be around. I get a 4-pack at Wally World for $4.
Oooh man. I'm a barrista, and as soon as my coworker Jen and I heard about the honey latte we were both OMG NO!!! D: I haven't tried them yet (I haven't been to work since we started them), but...yeah....
(And I feel utterly no shame in making fun of Starbucks, since I actually work in the cafe of a Barnes and Noble that happens to sell Starbucks drinks. I owe them no loyalty, mwahahahaa..) ;P
They were just...ew. They have a really pretty picture on the board, but...ew. I actually felt a bit nauseous for a couple hours after I drank what little I did. :-\

That said, I managed to go to the store and NOT pick up another pack of peppermint dark chocolate frappucinos. I so wanted to though.
I can quit anytime. Really.

Fill it with ice. 1 (ish) large shot vodka, 1 shot kahlua, and one bottle frappacino. It does the job very nicely without tasting alcohol much at all.
Also? Totally OT. My willpower is being tested for the first time. o.0 *clicky finger twitches*

*** Reaction in no way relates to the content of said spoilers, but simply in the fact that I suck.
