Reading the details it seems a bit misnamed. CSI: Taped

I remember seeing the world's worst magic show in that theater years ago. But there was A/C and my brother and I were too tired to leave. So we did the only thing we could: we MST3K-ed it.

ETA: Not sure I'll ever make it up to Magic Mountain again. MAYBE someday. The last visit pretty much turned me off because of the 3+ hour lines. Hellish day, that. And a 3 hour drive one-way to get there? It's really unappealing.

If it was closer I might consider going for a few hours. I LOVE the Superman ride. 0 - 100 mph in 7 seconds! That's the BEST rush! And it shoots you straight up 400 feet in the air - WOO! Goliath's second for me. 85 mph with a 235 foot drop. I have a thing for smooth and fast. :D Oh! And that stand up coaster is fun. Ridler's Revenge I think it's called?

Although you probably couldn't pay me enough to get back on X. I kept feeling like I was going to fall out on that ride - put a locking bar/strap between the horse collar and the seat, and I'd consider it. I was a bit dizzy after the ride but didn't feel motion sick, which I was wondering about considering that your seat turns end-over-end and you get twisted in every direction.

I grew up like 45 minutes away from Magic Mountain, so I had a season pass in my high school years, but I haven't been in like forever. During the summer it's ridiculously hot there and there are a lot of obnoxious teenagers and it's a bit ghetto. But I still kind of love it. It's no Disneyland, but it is fun.

My favorite rides are Scream and Viper. Riddler's Revenger (the stand up coaster) was actually my first big rollercoaster back when I was in like 5th grade. Batman is a pretty great ride too. Although, imo, the worst thing about Magic Mountian is the obnoxious techno music in the line areas. GAH.

Ooh, Viper kicked my butt once, even though I've been on it a few times. I had to lie down - but I think I might have been a bit dehydrated then. Normally I can handle pretty much any kind of coaster you throw at me.

And it's weird, but I kinda like the loud techno music. :D
